GriefShare, DivorceCare and DC4K

 GriefShare and DivorceCare and DivorceCare For Kids (DC4K), are three very special 13-week, Biblically based seminar/support groups being offered at the Vineyard Church, GriefShare is for adults who have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend through death. 

DivorceCare is for adults who are suffering the pain of divorce or separation from their spouse. DC4K is a special group to help your children heal from the pain caused by a separation or divorce.  DC4K provides your children with a safe and neutral place to recognize and learn to share their feelings. 

Each program presents a 30 to 40-minute DVD video each week featuring experts, ministers and Christian counselors discussing grief or divorce and recovery subjects as well as experts and lay people alike share their real-life stories of how they deal with the pain of death or divorce. 

The format is designed so anyone can join at any time during the 13 week sessions, which begin anew on the 1st Thursday of February, June, and October.  Attendees are welcome to take the course up to 3 times.  There is a onetime $15 book fee (scholarships are available upon request) On-site child care can be arranged for a fee. All three groups meet on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Celebrate Recovery

For everyone with a Hurt, Hang-up or Habit.  A SAFE place for help and recovery.  Various men's and women's groups are available.  Meets every Friday at 7 pm.  For more information see the web site at www.crwheeling.com.

 Marriage  Preparation - The Marriage Preparation Course- This course is a series of five sessions designed to help "nearly" and "newly" married couples develop strong foundations for a lasting marriage. The course is in a, "date night" atmosphere, highlighted with a candle light dinner, served with romantic music. Prepare and Enrich Inventories. - These inventories serve as an excellent tool to help the couple understand how their lives will blend together. Marriage Enrichment  - The Marriage Course. The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions designed to help any couple strengthen their relationship. The course is in a "date night" atmosphere. It includes a served candle light dinner with romantic music. The course work discussion is between the couple and not the whole class. The class will meet on Fridays at the West Liberty University Highlands Center. Date Night and will start again Fall 2010. The topics will include building strong foundations, the art of communication, resolving conflict, the power of forgiveness, the impact of family-past and present, good sex, and love in action.
