Alpha at the Vineyard

The Alpha Course is a great opportunity to check out the Christian faith! Whether you've never been to church, or you've recently found faith in Jesus Christ or if you are just trying to figure out what you believe, Alpha is for you. This 10 week course is designed to be a safe place to ask questions, explore tough issues and make some great friends.

The Alpha Course tackles some of the key questions of the Christian faith. Questions like, who is Jesus, why did He die, how and why should I pray, and how can I be sure of my faith. Alpha introduces the person of Jesus in a way that engages the mind as well as the heart and leaves room for some interesting and animated small group discussions.

A typical Alpha evening starts out with dinner at 6:00 followed by a talk via video and then on to small group discussions ending at 9:00 sharp. Many course participants have said Alpha is the fastest and best 3 hours of their week.

Begun at Holy Trinity Brompton in London, England, the Alpha Course is now being run all over the world in churches of every denomination. We run Alpha 3 times/year at the Vineyard and regularly have about 100 guests taking the course.
