What We Value

The Pursuit of God
We are hungry to know God's presence, hear His voice and follow hard after Him.

Being Spirit-Led
We seek to honor the person and work of the Holy Spirit and be responsive to the Holy Spirit in life and ministry.

The Kingdom of God
We aim to move in the signs of the present fulfillment of the Kingdom, invoking the Spirit's powerful presence, ministering through the Spirit's gifts, and seeing God heal and work wonders.

Discipleship
We aim first to grow personally in the disciplines of Christ and secondly to make disciples, calling others into those same practices.

The Mercy of God
We believe that mercy is fundamental to all that God does in salvation. We, therefore, aim to extend mercy to one another and to all to whom we minister.

Integrity
It is important to us to speak the truth, deal honestly, and live uprightly.

Unity
We are convinced that all who belong to Christ are one in His Body, the church. We aim to maintain unity by honoring all who call on Jesus's name and by seeking reconciliation with all parts of the church.

Peer Level Relationships
We are honored by every person whom God adds to the Vineyard. We aim to work together to build the church through maintaining mutual respect, open communication, determined cooperation, and believing and speaking the best about each other.

Reality
We aim to walk in the Spirit and see real supernatural works of God. We aim also to function on the natural plane based on God's leading and excellent, rational thinking.

Simplicity
We wish to do nothing "for religious effect" but rather to operate in a natural low-key, "non-hype" pattern. We prefer to have fun while doing the ministry of Christ.

Developing Servant Leadership
We believe that leadership authority is to be exercised with humility, selflessness, grace and a sincere desire to build up the body of Christ. We aim to provide encouragement and training and equipping that will be effective in the development of more servant leadership for the building up of the church and the work of ministry.

Inclusiveness
We aim to cultivate an attitude toward all people that builds bridges for the sake of Christ and His Kingdom purposes for their lives.

Excellence
In all we say and do, we desire to express life and ministry in excellence and quality. We aim to give our utmost and work toward our highest capabilities to honor Jesus Christ in life and ministry.

People
People are important to God and so people are important to us. We honor and value the inherent dignity and worth of every person since all people are the objects of God's redeeming love.

Evangelism
We aim to be proactive people committed to reaching our families, friends, coworkers and neighborhoods with the message of the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit. We desire to be active participants in Christ's call to fulfill The Great Commission.

The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the written words of God Himself and that it is absolutely reliable for all matters pertaining to life with God and one another. Our desire is to know, teach and do what the Bible says. Therefore, we highly value expository teaching with an emphasis on doing and experiencing the Word of God.

Ministry
We believe in the "Priesthood" of all believers; by that we mean that we all have been called to be Christ's servants and ambassadors. We aim to be active participants, not spectators, in God's advancing kingdom by exercising the gifts, purposes and measures of grace given to each and every one of us for the cause of Christ.

Prayer
We believe in the practice of cultivated prayer life by which we grow in intimate communion with God through prayer and intercession. We value prayer as a fundamental practice in the life of a disciple of Christ.

Worship
1. Our first priority as a people of God is to worship Him and at the heart of worship is the giving of our lives as a living offering to Christ. 2. The Bible teaches us that we are to be "a praise to His glory," a people expressing love and thanksgiving to God. Worship is an act of self-disclosure with God. It is to be our most truthful place with God, somehow allowing us to say in public and in quiet places, "We love You." It is a time of repentance and the language of love, and in this disclosure to God, we find ourselves able to be open to others.

The Lordship of Christ
We yield and submit our lives to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and we desire that His love, mercy, grace, truth, purity, power and integrity shine through all we are and all we do.

Being Relevant and Culture Current
For the sake of Christ, we aim to be relevant in word and deed to a rapidly changing world. We aim to develop an attitude and atmosphere of ease to speak, act, live and dress in ways by which each generation can more readily understand and respond to the unchanging message of Christ and His Kingdom.
